Ahh the joy of custom home building! This season we were given the joy of building a beautiful custom home located in the Coatesville District Area. This beautiful two-story home was a work of art from the beginning.
From the customer’s initial design to final completion this home was pieced together like a magnificent 3-D puzzle. Allowing the home to personify those deeming it their new home, the final product was a beautiful home embodying grandeur, elegance, and comfort. Words to capture this one-of-a-kind home seem inadequate, but as I sit
here at my keyboard, I know that I have to try. Apart from the overall design and layout of this home, the beauty to be recognized is found in the smaller details, because it is in these details that a house becomes a home. What you’ll find is a beautiful stone inlay kitchen island with beautiful hand-selected granite countertops, and stainless steel cook-top stove and double wall oven. Their great room displays a beautiful, tall stone fireplace with matching wall sconce lights to give a warm aurora. Sparkling chandeliers, three-piece crown moulding, hardwood flooring, and wainscoting leave you feeling a little more elegant and refined, I know I walked a little taller when I was given the final tour! The master bedroom suite is something to be admired as well, for it features an octagon tray ceiling, sitting room area, his and her granite counter sinks, walk-in tile shower and flooring, additional laundry compartment, and a beautiful garden tub. This home was such a joy and we are so thankful for the opportunity. We look forward to hearing how our happy customers spent their first Christmas in their new home. For more custom photos on this new home, be sure to check out our Custom Homes Gallery page over the course of the next week.
Every Christmas my sister and I turn into the biggest suckers for all of those semi-cheesy, heart-warming Christmas Hallmark movies. We’ve sort of developed a tradition of watching all of our favorites each Christmas accompanied with a warm bag of popcorn and giant Mainecoon cat Leo to warm our sides. If I were to choose my favorite Hallmark movie, hands down it would be “The Christmas Cottage.” The movie follows the early life of painter, Thomas Kinkade in his hometown of Placerville, California. Between the streetlights, carolers, Christmas pageants, and family dinners this movie leaves you feeling all geared up for the Christmas season and all the love that comes with it. This Christmas, in our own small town of Cochranville, Pennsylvania, Honeycroft Village will embody a little Christmas spirit and love as well. December 20th from 7-9 pm the 5th grade class from Assumption Blessed Virgin Mary School in West Grove will be caroling through the community. So leave those light posts on if you would like to hear beautiful little voices carol a little Christmas cheer!

Happy Halloween readers! With the close of the month I thought it only appropriate to list the October Home Of The Month! This month’s pick features the beautiful Woodale model, home to Wheatland Farms Community located in Lincoln University, Pennsylvania. This charming Victorian style home is a rare find in Chester County! Complete with a beautiful millwork wrap-around porch, two-car garage, and double gable with cedar impressions, I believe you’ll soon see why this home was rated #1 this month. Within this home you’ll find four spacious bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, extended family room, morning room, composite deck, and full basement just to name a few amenities. Location, location, location right? Well I believe we’ve nailed location with this home. Located within the Avon Grove School District and only minutes from the Route 1 Bypass you’ll find your early morning commute only fifteen minutes to Newark Delaware, thirty minutes to your West Chester and Lancaster Cities and forty-five minutes to your Philadelphia and Baltimore Cities. For the active, adventuresome sort you’ll find one of my favorite travel destinations, Fair Hill Recreational Park less than ten minutes drive away. With nearly seven thousand acres of open land for your biking, riding, and hiking activities, you’re bound to fall in love with this beautiful park. The Woodale is a must see, but please note, with only a few paragraphs to share this month’s home of the month, I am limited to only a couple of paragraphs! For further details, offers, and incentives on this incredible home please contact one of our Wheatland Farms sales consultants. Thanks for listening!
September 22nd and already it’s the first day of fall! Is anyone asking themselves where our summer went?! Although Fall is by far my favorite season of the year, this year I find myself reluctant to say fair well to the Summer. On this rainy first day of Fall I felt compelled to kick off a new series
of blog posts where I would like to list my favorite home of the month! With seven communities to choose from, this is where I’ll post my favorite choice of home on the market. I apologize in advance if my descriptions may be brief and lacking in detail but please remember you can find all of the needed information through the appropriate site agent. That being said, the pick of the month is The Tannon located in Honeycroft Village. For starters I love the location of this beautiful home. Settled amidst beautiful Chester County farmlands, this home always captures my attention when in passing. As far as amenities go I believe this home speaks for itself, with two bedrooms, two baths, morning room, second story open loft, oak hardwood flooring, stainless steel appliances, cozy gas fireplace, composite deck, stone cottage front, and finished basement you’ll see why this home has caught the eye of many. More importantly, however, I find the location one of a kind. The Tannon is located within the Octorara School District, home of the braves, and only five miles from one of my favorite places, Twin Brooke Winery. For the outdoor lovers like myself, I recommend a visit to Cochranville’s newest addition to the area Wolf’s Hollow County Park, only one mile from renowned Moccasin Run Golf Course. Like many, when speaking about some of my favorite things, I could talk your ear off or in this case write a book, so I will bid you adieu until next time. Or as my good friend Victoria would say in Italian, Arrivederci….or see you later!
