Community Description

Set amid the picturesque farmlands of southern Lancaster County, Great Rock at Quarryville is a charming neighborhood of new cottage homes where active, independent people may fulfill their life's calling with purpose and passion. From streetlamps to doorposts, you'll see the marks of Pennsylvania craftsmanship and care in every detail. The beautiful cottages at Great Rock only begin to tell a great story. Explore their new senior living options, including services that enhance life for the whole Quarryville community. Close to Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, DC, Great Rock will be an American retirement destination for people of faith.

The mission of Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community continues at Great Rock: To provide for the spiritual, physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents through high-quality facilities, services, and personal care in a manner faithful to the Bible and honoring our Lord, Jesus Christ.

The vision of Great Rock Retirement Community resonates with the Christ-centered philosophy that flows through Quarryville: The streets of Great Rock themselves are named after composers of hymns praising Jesus Christ as our Rock of Ages: Isaac Watts, the Warner sisters, and Thomas Hastings, among others. As you walk through Great Rock, everything resounds with the love of God: the design of the streets, the scenery and the smiles of neighbors who become true friends.
