Why It's Time To Buy

Categories: Uncategorized | Posted: June 24, 2011

Despite all of the gloom in the housing market there are growing indications that now is the time to buy! President of Beiler-Campbell Realtors, Anthony Beiler reports in Market Watch “A Case For Confidence” that “consumer confidence is at a 3 year high. Why the optimism? Unemployment is decreasing. With jobs secure, consumers are looking ahead to their financial future, and Real Estate is in the picture.” It is a buyer’s market but it won’t last long. Savvy consumers want to act before rates increase. From the months February to May mortgage rates dropped six weeks in a row! Currently rates stand at 4.5% for a 30 year fixed rate mortgage.

So what does this mean for you? In 2008 the rate was well above 6% for a 30 year fixed rate mortgage. This meant that you could borrow up to $300,000 for the purchase of your new home. Now with historically low rates of 4.5% you can borrow up to $405,000 for the purchase of your new home. So isn’t it time to trade in your old home for that new and bigger home that you’ve been waiting for?! If your income determines that you can afford a $1,995 monthly mortgage payment, buying now could enable you to buy $105,000 more home! Don’t fall prey to the belief that when the economy becomes stronger then it is time to invest, NOW is the time to buy and secure your financial future.  Based on a recent GALLUP consumer opinion poll, 45% percent of Americans are saying the economy is “Getting Better.” Be that savvy consumer and make the wise choice, for the opportunity to save $105,000 won’t last long!

“Many thanks to you and your company for a terrific experience building my first new home. Everything from the initial planning meeting to the walk through was a pleasure. All of the Cedar Knoll folks really went the extra mile for me.

As I share recounts of events to friends and relatives in other areas, they can’t believe my stories of how accommodating you’ve been and your fast, courteous responses to my needs. Many make statements like ‘I can’t believe the builder did that for you’ and ‘you wouldn’t find service like that in my area.’

You’ve redefined the meaning of customer service and removed the fear of the horror stories you hear about building new construction. Others should aspire to be more like you. Thank you for a wonderful experience and a job well done. You’ve truly assembled a winning team.”
